立見





最近早起,每朝都花少少時間看幾頁書。看了 Richard Rumelt 有關策略好壞的分野,與現在手中進行幾個 project 有許多相合之處(世事也許就是不停輪迴再輪迴)。Rumelt 教授通過細微的人性觀察,結合了商業社會現況,在眾多著名個案中提醒讀者一些常犯的重複錯誤。雖然只看了三章,已獲益良多,亦借此文與各位分享少少閱讀心得。

- Difference between Goal vs Strategy.
- Strategy is situation specific. It addresses & explains while Goal cannot.
- Capacity vs Deliverables
- Without the conditions for effective push, mere will equals suicide.
- Look for reasons behind phenomenon, not phenomenon itself.
- Positive thinking is only part of a puzzle, not everything. (A little learning is a dangerous thing.)
- A coherent thought is the base of any strategy.
- Dog's dinner is a bad strategy (a bit of everything).

- A possible bad strategy: a little bit from each of the available options. Example: WWII Germany military setup and manpower allocation in Europe west coast defense before operation Overlord.
